Project Experience

D&B Thermal has partnered with John Gross & Company for more than a decade, completing numerous facility improvement projects in support of the company’s ongoing operations and growth. After several years of strategic planning, owner Brian Gross made the decision to invest in a major facility expansion designed to support the company’s long-term growth objectives and position the business for future generations of leadership. That vision now includes the fourth generation of the Gross family actively leading the organization into its next phase of growth.

The expansion added more than 35,000 square feet to the existing facility, including over 30,000 square feet of temperature-controlled space consisting of new freezer, cooler, and loading dock areas engineered to enhance operational efficiency and support increasing distribution demands. The project was designed to strengthen both current operations and future scalability while maintaining the high service standards the company has built its reputation upon.

In addition to the operational expansion, the project also included the construction of a two-story employee welfare addition designed to better support the dedicated workforce that serves as the backbone of the company’s day-to-day operations. The enhanced employee spaces were developed to improve overall workplace functionality, comfort, and long-term support for the team members who contribute to the continued success of the organization.
