About D&B Thermal Company

Built on Experience. Built for What’s Next.

D&B Thermal Company, Inc. has spent more than 30 years building and installing high-performance thermal envelope systems for cold storage and temperature-controlled facilities across the United States.

We’re a specialty contractor by design.

Our work focuses on the most critical components of cold storage construction — insulated metal panel systems, vapor barriers, underfloor insulation, and complete thermal envelope integration for facilities where performance matters.

From small processing facilities to large-scale processing and distribution centers, our role has always been the same: build it right so it performs long-term.

Upgrade without disrupting operations

Expanding or Retrofitting an Existing Facility?

We support repairs, panel replacement, and thermal upgrades without disrupting operations.

Trusted nationwide

From Local Roots to National Reach

D&B Thermal was originally built serving local butchers, farms, breweries, and food producers that relied on dependable cold storage to operate. Those early projects established a reputation for disciplined installation and straightforward project management.

As our expertise expanded, so did the scale and complexity of the work.

Today, D&B Thermal supports cold storage and industrial construction projects nationwide — including freezer warehouses, food and meat processing plants, pharmaceutical environments, and large distribution facilities.

While the size of our projects has grown, our approach hasn’t changed.

We believe in:

Clear communication

Detail-driven execution

Accountability from start to finish

Long-term client relationships

Built on discipline

Warren Jefferis

Founder

Every strong company begins with conviction.

In 1995, Warren Jefferis launched D&B Thermal from a second-floor bedroom beside his daughter Briana’s room — the origin of the name “Daddy & Briana.” What started as a one-man operation grew steadily into a respected thermal construction firm built on discipline, craftsmanship, and long-term client trust.

Over the next three decades, Warren scaled the company with intention. He built experienced field crews, mentored project managers, and implemented structured systems that elevated both installation quality and operational efficiency. D&B Thermal became known for executing complex design-build projects and delivering dependable solutions within the cold storage and thermal construction industry.

In 2025, Warren transitioned ownership to three longtime employees, securing the company’s future while remaining actively involved as Founder and Consultant on key projects nationwide.

The foundation he built continues to guide how D&B Thermal operates today — with clarity, accountability, and a commitment to getting it right the first time.
